ALLERGIES AND SHEDDING


We are and will continue to record and chart statistics based upon our doodles and the feedback we get from clients. We send out questionaires at 6,12, and 18 months of age.

  • F1 Goldendoodles

     

     


     

     

    F1 Goldendoodle at 6 months

    75% report some amount of shedding
    73% report amount of shedding as light
    27% report amount of shedding as medium

    Of those owners with allergies 25% had mild reactions to the dog  when it was shedding.

    The average weight is 34lbs

     

    F1 Goldendoodle at 12 months

    84% report some amount of shedding
    45% report amount of shedding as light
    28% report amount of shedding as medium
    27% report amount of shedding as heavy

    Of those owners that do have allergies 50% reported they had mild reactions to their dog.

                                  The average weight is 57lbs

              F1 Goldendoodle at 18 months

    60% report some amount of shedding

    66% report amount of shedding as medium

    34% report amount of shedding as heavy

     

    Of those owners that do have allergies 33% reported they had mild reactions to their dog

    The average weight is 62lbs
     

     

  • F1b Goldendoodles

     

    F1b Goldendoodle at 6 months

    40% report some amount of shedding
    100% report amount of shedding as light
    Of those owners that do have allergies 100% reported they had NO reaction to their dog.

    The average weight is 34lbs

     

    F1b Goldendoodle at 12 months

    25% report some amount of shedding

    100% that reported shedding said the amount was light

    Of those owners that do have allergies 100% reported they had NO reaction to their dog.

     

    The average weight is 50lbs

     

    F1b Goldendoodle at 18 months

    100% report no shedding

    of those owners that do have allergies 1 person reported an occasional reation to their dog.

     The average weight is 55 lbs


  • Multi generational Doodles

    Multi Gens at 6 months

    20% report that their pup sheds

    100% of those that shed report the amount as little

    Of those owners that do have allergies 100% have reported that they are NOT affected by their dog.

                                             The average weight is 39 pounds
